We had a very successful STAAR Class (STAAR is the standardized test for students in Texas). We reached over 250 students and held over 50 recorded sessions. To access the recordings, click the corresponding link below. While we cover questions that are from the STAAR, the content is the same and can be used for your standardized exam, no matter what state you live in.
While these classes have ended, you can provide us your email and we will let you know about any new classes that we start. To sign up, go to the "Classes" Page on our website.
What we cover:
We only cover the Math and Reading STAAR Exams. Due to the nature of these classes, it is extremely hard to teach subjects like Science and History. We have a bi-weekly system. This means that we will cover Math one week and Reading the next week.

How the class works:
We will present the students with a practice problem, and give them about 2 minutes to do it. They will communicate their answers through chat. Once a majority of them answer, we will go over the question. If the student has any questions, they can unmute and ask at any point.
Due to the nature of these classes, they aren't necessarily for everyone. We will never turn away students who are interested, but because the class is completely online, it can be harder to learn. For this reason, we suggest that you join if and only if you are genuinely interested in learning. We try to make the class as engaging as possible, but there is a limit to what we can do over an online setting.
We want these classes to be useful. For this reason, we provide different things to ensure understanding:
Homework:
We give the students all the questions that we don't cover in the class. These problems are meant to be homework. However, it is very hard to enforce these things over an online class. This is why we say that these classes aren't necessarily for everyone. Students need to be accountable for themselves.
Practice Exam:
The final two classes are for the students to take a practice test. This gives the students one final chance to practice their exam-taking skills before the real deal. We don't have a diagnostic test. This is because it is extremely hard to conduct a diagnostic test with the size of the classes. On top of that, it is nearly impossible to tailor the curriculum to every student's needs over an online class. For this reason, we start with easier questions and gradually move up to harder ones, ensuring that students that need extra help get it, and that advanced students can continue learning concepts.
